The principality of Zion is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zion’s Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads an attack on the Storon 7 space colony. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, abandoned. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that forever changes history as we know it. Five years later, in the independent colony of Side 6, a young girl from the Newtype tribe finds herself drawn into the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gand. Soon the events take place in such a way that she finds herself in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and takes part in underground competitions in battles on mobile armor. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange abilities and find her place in the world, dreaming of heaven, where she can fly freely.
